As of 7:30 a.m. this morning, 26 teams will start Day Stakes.
Team 21, Sgt. 1st Class Blake A. Simms and Sgt. 1st Class Chad E.W. Stackpole was the first team to finish the 18-mile road march last night in an unofficial time of 4 hours, 23 minutes. Keep in mind that they accomplished this feat with both team members carrying full rucksacks, weighing about 65 pounds each.
Top three teams at the end of the litter carry yesterday were -
1st place - team 21 (Simms and Stackpole, 4th Ranger Training Bn, RTB)
2nd place - team 22 (Zajkowski and Jenkins, US Army Special Opns. Command)
3rd place - team 8 (Farmer and McDowell, 75th Ranger Regt.)
